Typical Assignments
Logistics Partners has undertaken numerous assignments since formation in 2000. Examples of some of these are detailed below.
Project Management - Systems Implentations & upgrades
Lynn Parnell was Project Manager and advisor for the implementation of a supply chain management system into two ambient distribution centres for Musgrave SuperValu Centra Irelands largest food & grocery distributor. Both projects ran for six months and were delivered on time and within budget.
Logistics Partners assisted a 3PL to upgrade their SCM system. The system has been in place for over 10 years and Logistics Partners advised on how the current operation could be re-engineered to utilise the enhanced software being implemented. As Project Manager Lynn Parnell ensured the project was delivered on time, within budget and delivered the goals defined in the project definition. For this project Lynn had to liaise with the software house and customer staff to ensure the success of the project.
Warehouse Audits & Reviews
Logistics Partners has completed independent warehouse audits or reviews for various companies including Midlands Co-operative Society Ltd, P&O Ferries Ltd and a large UK 3rd Party Logistics Provider. The report highlights key areas both operational and technical that internal managers can focus on to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the operation. Logistics Partners can also include the requirements for future system replacement.
Software Selection
Logistics Partners co-ordinated the software selection process for an Integrated Logistics System for Edwards Logistics a Global logistics provider. Logistics Partners then went on to Project Manage the implementation into the first two European locations, Edwards Logistics own staff then continued the roll-out.
Business Continuity Planning
Logistics Partners is currently creating a new Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland to ensure that customer service level is maintained during planned or unplanned IT outages affecting warehouse operations. A major part of this work is to test run the plan in live to ensure that the procedures and processes in the BCP will work when you need them.
Systems Integration Consultancy
Logistics Partners assisted Musgrave SuperValu Centra with the integration of their current warehouse management and purchasing/re-order system with their new head office and store systems (Aldata GOLD). This involved assisting with the requirements for interfaces and providing testing and go-live support.

This was a new contract and DC for Lloyd Fraser and the first ever installation of AquiTec’s new web-based eWMS warehouse management software.
